Goods Buldings are buildings that produce Goods, one of the 4 Resources in Forge of Empires. Goods are spent when researching some(most) Technologies. There's 30 Goods Buildings for you to unlock.

Mechanic

Goods Buildings have a similar mechanics to that of Supplies Buildings. The player has to assign work, consuming some gold, supplies and the raw material(if you have it) to produce the goods over different times (4 Hours, 8 Hours, 1 Day and 2 Days). But the production is much lower and slower compared to Supplies Buildings.
Unlike production building, its product will not spoil.

Technology

Every Goods Buildings must be unlocked through research. For example, the player must have researched the technology "Stonework" in order to construct a Stone Mason.
It's recommended that you research the Goods Buildings you have access to first. Then, it's also recommended that you research the other as well, because if you're on a not-so-active continent, you'll have a hard time trading with other players. Thus, it's good to have access to the needed Goods Buildings. It'll take some time to get the amount you need, but it's still cheaper than trading with Merchants(Merchants have a 1 for 10 ratio!).
As a last resort, you can always buy resources through Diamonds.

Ages

Goods buildings can be sorted into different ages according to the technology can be researched and unlock in the following age.

Bronze Age

  • Dye Works (Dye)
  • Lumbermill (Lumber)
  • Marble Mason (Marble)
  • Stone Mason (Stone)
  • Vineyard (Wine)
where they require
  • 100 Gold and 100 Supplies to produce 5 Goods (or 1 Good without deposit) over 4 hours.
  • 200 Gold and 200 Supplies to produce 10 Goods (or 2 Goods without deposit) over 8 hours.
  • 400 Gold and 400 Supplies to produce 20 Goods (or 4 Goods without deposit) over 1 day.
  • 600 Gold and 600 Supplies to produce 30 Goods (or 6 Goods without deposit) over 2 days.

Iron Age

  • Ebony Woodworks (Ebony)
  • Iron Foundry (Iron)
  • Jewelry Manufacturer (Jewelry)
  • Limestone Mason (Limestone)
  • Weaving Mill (Cloth)
where they require
  • 200 Gold and 200 Supplies to produce 5 Goods (or 1 Good without deposit) over 4 hours.
  • 400 Gold and 400 Supplies to produce 10 Goods (or 2 Goods without deposit) over 8 hours.
  • 800 Gold and 800 Supplies to produce 20 Goods (or 4 Goods without deposit) over 1 day.
  • 1200 Gold and 1200 Supplies to produce 30 Goods (or 6 Goods without deposit) over 2 days.


Early Middle Age

  • 1600 Gold and 1600 Supplies to produce 20 Goods (or 4 Goods without deposit) over 1 day.
